Hoisting Equipment Specialists is a well established, Australian owned business with over 40 years of experience in the supply, service, maintenance and installation of overhead cranes, hoists and lifting equipment.

n

We are currently seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our NSW team. This is a hands on, field based role suited to a motivated technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, exceptional customer service, working safely, and delivering practical solutions to our customers.

About the Role

n

Working across a variety of customer sites, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing overhead cranes, electric hoists and winches, ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently:

- Carrying out scheduled and preventative maintenance
n
- Attending breakdowns to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
n
- Using our InspectSafe portal to complete detailed service reports and compliance documentation with a high level of accuracy
n
- Communicating with customers, providing practical solutions and technical support
n
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with Australian Standards and safety standards
n
- Working independently whilst maintaining strong communication with the team
n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- A current Electrician Licence (essential)
n




- At least 3 years proven experience in a technical service role, ideally within crane, lifting or industrial equipment
n
- Robust electrical and mechanical fault finding capability
n
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and technical schematics
n
- A commitment to safe work practices and procedures
n
- Solid problem solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
n
- Strong communication skills and a customer focused approach
n
- The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
n
- Current Driver's Licence and Australian Working Rights (essential)
n

Desirable (but not essential)

- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket
n
- Working at Heights certification
n
- Dogging or Rigging tickets
n
- Experience with overhead cranes, hoists or winches
n
