Transport for NSW is seeking a Project Engineer to support the development and delivery of road, bridge and traffic infrastructure projects that improve safety, enhance network performance and connect communities across NSW.

In this role, you'll:
n
n
- Manage the delivery of road, bridge, traffic and maintenance projects to achieve agreed scope, cost, quality and time objectives.
n
- Coordinate project planning activities, including investigations, design development, cost estimates and project briefs.
n
- Prepare technical specifications and contract documentation to support the procurement and delivery of works.
n
- Monitor project performance, budgets and schedules to ensure successful outcomes.
n
- Support the implementation of workplace health, safety and environmental management practices across projects.
n
- Engage with contractors, consultants and stakeholders to support project delivery.
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and effective infrastructure project outcomes.
n
- Support the delivery of infrastructure solutions that improve safety, asset performance and network efficiency.
n

About you:
n
n
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of infrastructure, civil engineering, transport or construction projects.
n
- Solid understanding of project management principles,
contract administration and procurement processes.
n
- Experience preparing project briefs, cost estimates, technical documentation and delivery programs.
n
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a focus on safety, quality and stakeholder outcomes.
n
- Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
n
- Sound problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to delivering results.
n
- Commitment to collaboration, continuous improvement and customer-focused service delivery.
n
- A four-year Engineering degree (Civil or related discipline) from an Australian university or equivalent overseas qualification.
n
- Current and valid Australian driver's licence.
n
- Willingness to travel and work outside standard business hours when required.
n
- Knowledge of engineering, project delivery and infrastructure management practices.
n
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and engineering excellence.
n
