Heavy Diesel Fitter & Auto Sparkies | Underground | 7/7 | $80 to $95 per hour

The Opportunity

n

We are partnering with a major underground operation in Northwest Queensland to secure experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters & Auto Electricians for their underground maintenance team.

n

This is a long-term opportunity on a tier one site with a secure, well-resourced workshop fleet.

n

The Details

n

n
- 7 days on, 7 days off roster
n
- $80 to $95 per hour depending on experience and tickets
n
- Flights ex Cairns, Townsville or Brisbane
n
- All meals and accommodation provided
n
- Underground role, workshop and field maintenance
n
- Ongoing work with a well-established contractor
n

The Fleet

n

You will be working across underground mobile equipment including:

n

n
- Sandvik loaders (LH514, LH517, LH621)
n
- Sandvik and Cat underground trucks (TH551, TH663, AD 50, AD55,



AD60)
n
- Development jumbos (DD421, DD422)
n
- Production drills (DL411, Simba)
n
- Charge up units and IT rigs
n
- Normet agitators and Spraymec shotcrete sprayers
n
- Integrated tool carriers and underground service vehicles
n

n

What You Will Need

n

n
- Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter or Auto elec. Dual trade highly desirable.
n
- Previous underground hard rock experience (essential)
n
- Standard 11 Generic Induction (current)
n
- Current C Class licence
n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A; screen
n
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic ability
n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Sandvik or Epiroc OEM experience
n
- Hydraulic and electrical fault finding
n
- Working at Heights, Confined Space, EWP tickets
n

n
