Newcastle | Temporary Contract | Immediate Start | Initial 3-Month Assignment

Chandler Macleod is currently seeking an experienced Inventory & Data Project Coordinator to support the Inventory team of a leading resources organisation in Newcastle.
n
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Inventory Analyst, Senior Inventory Analyst or Inventory Coordinator with strong SAP, inventory data and analytical capability to join a busy operational environment.
n
The focus is on finding the right technical and analytical skill set rather than a specific job title.
n
About the Role
n
Reporting to the Inventory Manager, you will provide hands‐on support across inventory analysis, SAP data, reporting, master data and stakeholder coordination.
n
You will be responsible for:
n
n
- Extracting, validating and analysing inventory, consumption, purchasing and exception data from SAP
n
- Maintaining regular Power BI and Excel reporting
n
- Monitoring inventory and MRP exceptions and driving actions through to closure
n
- Supporting inventory reconciliations, data validation and cleansing
n
- Coordinating actions across Inventory, Purchasing, Maintenance and Master Data
n
- Investigating data discrepancies and supporting resolution
n
- Providing ad hoc inventory analysis and reporting
n
- Supporting general BAU inventory and materials management activities
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for someone who can combine inventory knowledge with robust data and analytical skills.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
- Strong hands‐on SAP inventory or materials management experience
n
- SAP S/4HANA/MMexperience highly regarded
n
- Experience in inventory planning, materials management, MRO or supply chain
n
- Advanced Excel capability
n
- Strong Power BIreporting and data analysis skills
n
- Experience working with inventory, purchasing, consumption or MRP data
n
- Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
n
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
n
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
n
- The ability to work independently and follow actions through to completion
n
n
Industry Experience
n
Experience within mining, resources, MRO, heavy industry, manufacturing, engineering, maintenance or other asset-intensive environmentswill be highly regarded.
n
