About Gaza Ridge Health Centre
n
The Gaza Ridge Health Centre is located on Gaza Ridge South at Bandiana near Wodonga. The Albury Wodonga Military Area consists of 3 barracks and is home to the Army's Logistic Training Centre, Joint Logistics Unit Victoria and Schooling in various areas. This is a large base providing services to over 5000 Defence Force members. The health centre provides primary medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical care. There is also a 20-bed low dependency ward which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The standard operating hours are 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on‐call shifts).

This is a fixed term full time bench position that involves shift work, weekend work and travel if operationally required.

What You'll Do
n
n
- Deliver high quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations or monitor and manage patients in a low dependency ward setting
n
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals
n
- Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care
n
n
What You Bring
n
n
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- Minimum one year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or military setting
n
- Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
n
- Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
n
- Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred care
n
- Ability to work a 24/7 roster
n
