Are you a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced venue?Trippas White Group is looking for a Theatre Bars Supervisor to help run baroperations at one of the world's most iconic performing arts venues - the SydneyOperaHouse. You'll lead a large team through pre-show, interval, matinee, andpost-show service, delivering fast, friendly service to thousands oftheatregoers across our bars.

What You'll Do

n

n
- Supportthe Bar Management team in day-to-day operations, ensuring service runssmoothly and efficiently throughout every show period.
n
- Leadand deploy a large team on the floor, managing queues and delivering aconsistently high standard of guest experience.
n
- Monitorstock, ordering, and wastage to keep operations running smoothly.
n
- Train,coach, and develop staff to build a high-performing team.
n
- Resolvecustomer concerns promptly and professionally.
n
- Manageopening and closing procedures, including cash handling, float management,and reconciliation.
n
- Championcompliance with RSA requirements, NSW liquor licensing regulations, andTWG and Sydney Opera House policies.
n
- Maintainhigh standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene across all barareas.
n
- Communicateand collaborate closely with Bar Management,



Front of House, and otherdepartments.
n
- Actas a role model for the team, upholding TWG and Sydney Opera House values.
n
- Supportthe onboarding and induction of new team members.
n
- Makeconfident, sound decisions under pressure, recognising when to escalationissues.
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Provenexperience supervising or leading a bar or hospitality team, ideally in ahigh-volume theatre, events, or hospitality setting.
n
- CurrentRSA certification and sound knowledge of NSW liquor licensingrequirements.
n
- Acalm, solutions-focused approach under pressure.
n
- Strongcommunication skills and the ability to build relationships acrossdepartments.
n
- Agenuine passion for guest experience and team development.
n
- Availabilityto work evenings, weekends, and show-based rosters.
n
