Job Description

- Act as a trusted business partner and adviser to the Asia Pacific Go-to-Market Vice President and leadership team
n
- Support the delivery of the business's five-year strategic growth plan through insightful financial analysis and commercial recommendations
n
- Drive informed decision-making through analysis of customer requirements, product profitability and market performance
n
- Partner with the business to optimise pricing, evaluate deal profitability, and provide sales and margin insights that support profitable growth
n
- Provide governance and oversight of Go-to-Market operating expenses (SG&A;), including recommendations to improve efficiency and value creation
n
- Ensure financial reporting and analysis complies with US GAAP, local accounting standards and Caterpillar corporate policies
n
- Collaborate across finance, sales, operations and regional leadership teams to drive enterprise-wide outcomes
n

Requirements

n

n
- Hold a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
n
- CPA, CA, ACCA or similar qualifications will be highly regarded
n
- Bring significant experience in finance, accounting, commercial analysis or business partnering roles, within the mining or OEM environments
n
- Have robust knowledge of financial management, reporting, performance analysis, forecasting and modelling
n
- Possess strong commercial acumen with experience supporting sales, go-to-market activities,



pricing and deal profitability
n
- Be a strategic thinker with the ability to analyse complex business issues, identify solutions and support growth initiatives
n
- Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders
n
- Take an enterprise-wide perspective and consistently lead in line with organisational values
n
