Job Description

South Morang Motor Group is looking for a reliable and motivated Driver/Storeperson to join our growing Parts and Service team.

n

This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys being on the road, working as part of a team and providing great service to both our trade customers and dealership customers.

n

You'll be an important part of our operation, helping ensure parts are delivered accurately and on time while also assisting our Service Department when required.

About the Role

n

Your day‐to‐day responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Picking and packing customer and trade orders
n
- Delivering automotive parts throughout metropolitan Melbourne and surrounding suburbs
n
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely
n
- Taking and processing payments from trade customers
n
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
n
- Maintaining an organised and tidy parts and warehouse area
n
- Assisting our Service Department with customer shuttle services
n
- Collecting and dropping off customer vehicles when required
n
- Providing friendly and professional service when dealing with customers and suppliers
n
- Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately, safely and efficiently
n

About You

n





We're looking for someone who is:

n

n
- A holder of a current and full Australian driver's licence
n
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
n
- Friendly and skilled with excellent communication skills
n
- Physically fit and capable of safely lifting and handling automotive parts and panels
n
- Comfortable working independently and managing a delivery schedule
n
- Well organised with good attention to detail
n
- Safety conscious and respectful of company and customer vehicles
n
- A positive team player willing to help wherever required
n

Previous automotive parts or warehouse experience would be an advantage, but is not essential for the right person.
