Field Service Supervisor - Heavy Equipment

Are you an experienced heavy vehicle, diesel, forklift, plant, agricultural, or earthmoving technician ready to step into a leadership role?

We are seeking a hands-on Heavy Truck Supervisor to support and coordinate our service operations, oversee major repairs, supervise technicians, and ensure our customers receive the highest level of service and support.

What You'll Be Working On:

n

You'll play a key role in supervising service operations involving heavy forklifts, container handlers, reach stackers, and other large-scale material handling equipment used across ports, logistics operations, mining sites, and industrial facilities.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Supervising technicians on major repairs, quoted works,



and preventative maintenance activities
n
- Coordinating workshop and field service operations
n
- Conducting customer visits, equipment inspections, and follow-up reviews
n
- Assisting with repair quotations and overseeing quoted works
n
- Managing service documentation, job sheets, and invoicing processes
n
- Liaising with customers, subcontractors, and parts suppliers
n
- Supporting rental fleet maintenance planning and repair programs
n
- Assisting with warranty repairs and new equipment installations
n
- Providing technical guidance and leadership to service technicians
n
- Acting as a key support resource for the Service Management team
n

We're Looking For Someone Who:

n

n
- Has experience within heavy vehicle, forklift, material handling, mining, agricultural, or earthmoving industries
n
- Possesses strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across engines, transmissions, hydraulics, driveline, and electrical systems
n
- Has previous supervisory or team leadership experience
n
- Takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
n
- Is customer-focused and safety-driven
n
- Has strong organisational and communication skills
n
- Is comfortable preparing quotations, coordinating repairs, and managing service documentation
n
- Has good computer skills,



including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
n
