Our Client based on the Lower North Shore, Sydney, is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join their People & Culture team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with exposure to employee matters and who enjoys working closely with leaders, employees and external stakeholders.
ABOUT THE ROLE.
Initial 6-month prospect. This is a hands-on advisory role focused on complex employee and industrial relations matters, providing practical advice and support across Council. You will work closely with managers and stakeholders, confidently navigate sensitive issues and liaise with unions where required.
DUTIES.
- Manage ER/IR matters
- Provide trusted HR advice
- Liaise confidently with unions
- Interpret Awards and legislation
- Support workplace investigations and case management
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related field
- Local Government experience highly desirable
- Knowledge of employment legislation
- Excellent written and communication skills
REMUNERATIONs & BENEFITS.
- $55-$65 p/h + Super
- Collaborative office environment
- Up-to 2 days WFH
- Autonomous role with trusted advisory responsibilities
