We're looking for an experienced Integration Developer to join a collaborative technology team delivering enterprise integration solutions across a large and evolving environment. You'll play a key role in designing, developing and supporting API and integration services that enable critical business applications to communicate seamlessly.
n

What You'll Be Doing
n
You'll contribute to the design, development and support of enterprise integration solutions by:
n
n
- Designing, developing and maintaining integration services using Java and J2EE technologies
n
- Building, exposing and supporting RESTful APIs and web services
n
- Developing scalable, secure and high-performing integration solutions across multiple enterprise applications
n
- Working closely with solution architects, business analysts and development teams to deliver end-to-end integration outcomes
n
- Integrating cloud and on-premise applications using modern integration frameworks and middleware
n
- Writing clean, reusable and well-documented code following engineering best practices
n
- Troubleshooting production issues and optimising integration performance
n
- Participating in code reviews, testing and continuous improvement initiatives
n
- Supporting CI/CD practices and contributing to DevOps-driven delivery.
n

What You'll Bring
n
We're looking for someone with solid technical capability who enjoys delivering reliable integration solutions within complex enterprise environments.
n
Essential Skills
n
n
- Strong commercial experience developing applications using Java and J2EE
n
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs and web services
n
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and API-led architecture
n
- Experience working with JSON, XML, SOAP and REST technologies
n
- Strong SQL and relational database experience
n
- Experience integrating multiple enterprise applications and systems
n
- Knowledge of secure API development including authentication and authorisation mechanisms
n
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
- Experience with API Management platforms (Apigee, MuleSoft, Kong or similar)
n
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, JMS or RabbitMQ
n
- Exposure to cloud platforms including AWS, Azure or GCP
n
- CI/CD experience using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or similar
n
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams
n
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes or container-based deployments
n
n
