Our Head Office in South Guildford is seeking Technical Support Specialist with a specialisation in Combines to join our team.

n

Job Responsibilities

n

n
- Train staff on all matters related to John Deere and other premium suppliers' equipment, required for the development of skills and knowledge.
n
- Be able to develop as a John Deere CDI (Certified Dealer Instructor) and deliver John Deere Approved training.
n
- Setup and prepare training events, including communication and support of factory training events.
n
- Mentor Apprentices and Service Technicians.
n
- Support technicians remotely & in-field with diagnosis and repair as required.
n
- Maintains current knowledge & Training levels of John Deere equipment, including Precision Ag Technology.
n
- Use Expert Connect for all incoming & outgoing communications.
n
- Provide support within the team in systems such as DTAC/CCMS.
n
- Communicate technical bulletins and Case Contact Management System (DTAC & DPAC) solutions, related to equipment of responsibility, to all branches.
n
- Maintain good cooperation and communication with all company departments.
n
- Maintain good customer relations,



when present at machines.
n
- Works with service managers to ensure there are no expired Product Improvement Programs (PIPs).
n
- Ensure that all New Model Qualifications on supported equipment are met.
n
- Execute other duties as assigned by management.
n

The successful applicants will have

n

n
- John Deere equipment and systems experience a must.
n
- Extensive experience in ServiceADVISORTM/ Service Center.
n
- Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment. (5+ Years post qualification).
n
- Expert knowledge of John Deere combines.
n
- Ability to analyse, interpret and relay information in a timely manner.
n
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
n
- Ability to work in a team environment and assist team members when required.
n
- Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups.
n
- Set up and prepare training material and presentations.
n
- Solid time management skills with a high attention to detail. (Previous Service Management experience looked upon favourably).
n
- Willing to travel when required.
n
- Follow DTAC's and Expert Alerts and give support on them.
n
