Lead multiple Freedom stores across South Australian

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a key Freedom retail region and make a visible impact across our South Australian store network.

As Retail Area Lead, you'll lead through your Store Managers to drive sales, profitability, customer experience and team performance. You'll be close to the floor, understand what is happening in each showroom and turn that insight into explicit action.

We're looking for a commercially strong multi-site retail leader who enjoys building capable leaders, creating accountability and lifting performance. You'll have the autonomy to influence results across your region while being supported by a collaborative national Retail and People & Culture team.

What You'll Be Working On

Leading the commercial and operational performance of stores across your region

Driving sales, delivered sales,



EBIT, conversion, average transaction value and customer experience outcomes

Partnering with Store Managers to build clear plans that improve performance and deliver against budget

Creating a strong sales culture through visible leadership, coaching and consistent performance expectations

Using store and regional data to identify opportunities, risks and actions

Coaching Store Managers to lead high-performing, accountable and engaged teams

Building a strong internal talent pipeline through succession planning and development

Ensuring visual, operational and customer standards are consistently executed across the region

Supporting change initiatives and creating strong collaboration between stores and Support Centre teams

What Type of Person Will Succeed

You’ll be a hands-on, commercially minded retail leader who can move comfortably between the big picture and the detail. You know how to challenge performance constructively, build trust with Store Managers and create momentum across multiple locations.

Around 5+ years of retail leadership experience, including responsibility across multiple sites

Strong commercial acumen and confidence interpreting retail KPIs and turning them into action

A proven ability to drive sales performance and hold leaders accountable for results

Strong coaching capability with a genuine focus on developing Store Managers and future leaders





A visible leadership style - comfortable getting into stores, understanding the detail and leading from the front

Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across different levels of the business

High ownership, resilience and the ability to lead effectively through change

A customer-first mindset combined with a strong focus on commercial outcomes
