ROLE – Electrical Project Engineer – Water & Wastewater

SALARY - $135,000 - $155,000 per annum, dependent on experience

n

TYPE – Permanent

n

My client provides specialist engineering solutions across the Water and Wastewater sector, delivering innovative treatment systems and engineered solutions.

n

They are looking for a Project Engineer with an electrical bias and experience in Water Treatment to join their growing team in Adelaide.

n

The Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

n

n
- At least 2 years of experience in an Electrical, Project, Design, or Controls Engineering role
n
- Experience working on Water, Wastewater, Industrial Process, Utilities, or similar engineering projects
n
- Experience with electrical systems, control panels, instrumentation, PLCs, VSDs, or similar equipment
n
- Able to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs;, and engineering drawings
n
- Experience with industrial automation, controls, or SCADA would be beneficial
n
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline
n
- Experience taking projects from concept through to manufacture, installation, and commissioning
n
- Able to manage projects, timelines,



budgets, and technical documentation
n
- Experience creating and maintaining BOMs and engineering documentation
n
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
n

The Project Engineer role will involve:

n

n
- Managing engineering projects from concept through to production, installation, and delivery
n
- Supporting the electrical design and delivery of Water and Wastewater treatment systems and equipment
n
- Working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners
n
- Reviewing electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
n
- Specifying electrical equipment, instrumentation, control panels, and associated components
n
- Liaising with fabrication, manufacturing, and installation providers throughout project delivery
n
- Preparing technical documentation, reports, and project records
n
- Creating and maintaining BOMs within the MRP system
n
- Supporting testing and commissioning activities where required
n
- Working within a cooperative, growing engineering team on a variety of projects
n
