The Opportunity
n
As the Bookkeeping Manager, you will manage a portfolio of clients while overseeing the workflow and quality of work completed by an offshore bookkeeping team.
n
With transactional processing handled by offshore staff, your focus will be on higher-level bookkeeping, financial reporting, compliance,
and client advisory support. This role offers an excellent pathway toward management accounting and broader leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Manage a portfolio of bookkeeping clients
n
- Review and oversee work completed by offshore team members
n
- Prepare and review BAS and IAS lodgements
n
- Complete workpapers and financial reports
n
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
n
- Manage superannuation payments and compliance requirements
n
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
n
- Monitor workflows and ensure deadlines are consistently met
n
- Support process improvements and best-practice bookkeeping procedures
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
- Minimum 6 years' bookkeeping experience within a public practice accounting firm
n
- Strong working knowledge of Xero
n
- Experience preparing BAS, IAS, financial statements, reports, and compliance documentation
n
- Excellent understanding of bookkeeping and accounting processes
n
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
n
- Skilled communication skills and confidence when dealing with clients
n
- Previous leadership or review experience will be highly regarded
n
