Keep Freight Moving. Keep Customers Happy. Keep Operations Running.

We're looking for an experienced Warehouse & Transport Planner to become a key operational link between our customers, warehouse operations and transport network in Adelaide.

This is a hands‑on operational role where you'll help drive the daily warehouse workflow, coordinate transport requirements and make sure freight is prioritised and ready to move when it needs to.

We're looking for someone who understands how a busy warehouse operates, can confidently coordinate people and priorities on the floor, and knows how warehouse and transport operations need to work together.

If you've worked as a Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Team Leader, Transport Planner or in a similar logistics operations role, we'd be interested in hearing from you.

This isn't a warehouse administration role.

We're looking for someone with genuine operational experience who is comfortable taking ownership, making decisions and keeping a fast‑paced warehouse and transport operation moving.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll coordinate the daily flow of warehouse activities and customer orders through to transport, ensuring freight is prioritised, prepared and dispatched safely, accurately and on time.

You'll work closely with the warehouse team, Transport Operations and Customer Service to manage daily priorities, respond to operational issues and keep freight moving.

This is an operational planning role where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning daily warehouse workflow around transport departure times and customer delivery commitments.

Coordinating freight bookings, carrier collections and transport dispatch schedules.

Liaising with Transport Operations regarding fleet availability, freight movements and dispatch priorities.

Prioritising customer orders to maximise warehouse productivity and transport efficiency.

Monitoring freight movements and proactively resolving operational issues.

Coordinating urgent customer requests while balancing operational priorities.

Managing customer communication regarding dispatch, delivery and freight movements.

Maintaining accurate information across Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transport Management Systems (TMS) and operational systems.

Working collaboratively across warehouse, transport and customer service teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

Working Hours:

Warehouse operations run between 6:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Rostered hours will fall within this window.

About You:

We're looking for someone who genuinely understands transport operations—not just warehouse administration.

You’ll bring:

Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations, transport planning, fleet allocation, dispatch scheduling or operational coordination within a transport, freight or 3PL environment

Experience coordinating warehouse workflow, people and operational priorities

A strong understanding of freight movements, dispatch requirements, carrier collections and delivery timeframes

Experience coordinating warehouse activities around transport schedules and dispatch cut-off times.

The ability to confidently manage multiple competing priorities in a fast‑paced operational setting.

Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.

Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transport Management Systems (TMS).

Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Strong communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.

Experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Team Leader or in a similar hands‑on logistics operations role will be highly regarded.

Before You Apply

This role is ideal for someone with a strong warehouse, transport or logistics operations background who enjoys coordinating people, priorities and freight movements and taking ownership of the day‑to‑day operation.

We're particularly interested in applicants who have worked in warehouse supervision, team leadership, transport planning, fleet allocation or dispatch operations and understand how the warehouse floor connects with the broader transport network.

Applicants with warehouse administration experience only, and without demonstrated hands‑on warehouse or transport operations experience, are unlikely to be successful.
