Palliative Care Consultant Part-time, fixed-term 0.5 EFT over 12 months with opportunity for an ongoing role. Weekend cover plus on-call, as required.

About the role

The Consultant in Palliative Medicine/Palliative Medicine Physician leads and manages the delivery of evidenced based Palliative medicine to patients and families across Cabrini. The Palliative Care service operates in an integrated model across 4 service arms: consult; inpatient, ambulatory and community. The doctor will oversee the clinical service delivery to patients and families as directed by the Director of Palliative Medicine.

Qualifications and experience

- MBBS or equivalent and postgraduate qualifications in Palliative Medicine or related specialty
- Unconditional registration as a medical practitioner with AHPRA
- Robust background in Palliative Medicine
- Experience in multidisciplinary care delivery
- Experience in problem solving within a team setting
- Ability to work an on call rotating roster, including weekends

Contract and working hours

Part-time, fixed-term 0.5 EFT over 12 months. Weekend cover plus on-call, as required.
