The Role

n

As a Senior Electronic Security Technician, you'll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of advanced electronic security systems across a diverse range of commercial, industrial and government projects.

n

Working alongside Project Managers, Engineers and Clients, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest technical standard while acting as a senior technical resource across installation and commissioning activities.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Installation, commissioning and servicing of enterprise electronic security systems
n
- Programming, testing and commissioning of Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Detection and Intercom systems
n
- Installation and configuration of IP-based CCTV,



Access Control and integrated security platforms
n
- Installation of Gate Automation and Perimeter Security solutions
n
- Structured cabling, fibre optic installation, data networking and field device terminations
n
- Advanced fault-finding, diagnostics and preventative maintenance across client sites
n
- Reading technical drawings, wiring schematics and project documentation
n
- Working closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification
n
- Providing technical leadership, client support and system handovers on completed projects
n
- Completing commissioning documentation, service reports and compliance paperwork
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Proven experience installing, servicing and commissioning Commercial Electronic Security Systems (essential)
n
- Strong knowledge of Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Detection and integrated security systems
n
- Experience working on commercial, industrial or government projects
n
- Robust fault-finding and diagnostic skills
n
- Experience with structured cabling, networking and security infrastructure
n
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and system documentation
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- Current QLD Security Licence (essential)
n
- Current Open Cabling Licence (essential)
n
- Current Driver's Licence
n

n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Experience with enterprise platforms such as Gallagher, Integriti, Genetec, Milestone, Inner Range, Hikvision, AXIS, Bosch, Tecom or similar
n
- Experience commissioning integrated electronic security systems
n
- Previous experience leading projects or mentoring junior technicians
n
