This is a continuing teaching appointment,with an initial appointment into the Middle Leader position including Middle Leader Allowance, concluding at the end of the current triennium (December 2029). Two subsequent three-year appointments with the Middle Leader Allowance can be offered subject to satisfactory performance in the position and the ongoing existence of the position.

In this position you will be responsible for:

n

n
- Leading the designated curriculum area(s) taught in the school
n
- Applying contemporary learning and teaching research to classroom practice through career development of teachers engaged in the area(s) of curriculum responsibility
n
- Supervising and inducting teachers engaged in the area(s) of curriculum responsibility
n
- Analysing student performance data and addressing areas of concern through appropriate interventions
n
- Managing financial and material resources within the area of responsibility including the formulation of
n
- budgets and the expenditure of allocated funds.
n
