- This is an exciting opportunity to join our Midwifery Antenatal and Postnatal Service (MAPS) while also being considered for opportunities across our broader maternity service, depending on service needs.

What you'll be doing
As a Registered Midwife,
you will play a key role in providing safe, compassionate and evidence-informed care. You will build trusting relationships with women and families while working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible health outcomes.
- Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate individualised midwifery care throughout the maternity journey.
- Provide high-quality, timely and culturally appropriate care to women and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Build strong therapeutic relationships and communicate effectively with women, families, carers and healthcare professionals.
- Promote evidence-based practice, education and continuous quality improvement within the service.
- Support the development of students, Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Midwifery and fellow Registered Midwives through education, guidance and clinical support.
