Being good on a forklift isn't enough if you're not safe on one.

At CHILL, we're looking for people who can work at pace, get stuck in and keep an eye on what's happening around them. Safety isn't someone else's job — it's part of yours.

The role

Think F1 pit crew.

Trucks arrive. Stock needs to move. Orders need to be picked, packed and ready to go. Everyone has a part to play in keeping the warehouse moving.

This is a hands-on warehouse role , not a job where you'll spend the whole shift sitting on a forklift.

You'll move between picking and packing orders, forklift work, stock movements, loading and unloading, and whatever else needs doing to keep things flowing.

The goal is simple: right stock, right place, right time — safely.

You're not necessarily the loudest part of the operation, but when you do your job well, everything around you works better.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
- Operating a forklift for stock movements and pallet flow
- Working across temperature-controlled areas, including cold store and freezer zones
- Loading, unloading and moving stock where it needs to go
- Using equipment safely around pedestrians and other warehouse activity
- Completing pre-use equipment checks before every shift
- Spotting and reporting hazards, near misses and safety concerns




- Keeping your work area clean, organised and ready for the next job

What We're Looking For

- Current LF forklift licence — this is a hard requirement
- High Reach experience is highly desirable
- Right to work in Australia
- Genuine safety awareness — not just "I've done the course"
- Comfortable working in cold and freezer environments
- Physically fit and happy being on your feet
- Reliable, switched on and ready to contribute
- A team-player mindset — what you do affects everyone around you

The honest bit

Freezer work is cold. Actually cold.

And this isn't a warehouse where you'll spend the day cruising around on a forklift. It's active, hands-on work and there will always be something that needs moving, picking, packing or sorting.

If you're looking for a quiet day in a warm shed, this probably isn't it.

But if you like staying busy, take pride in doing things properly and want to work somewhere that takes safety seriously, you'll fit right in.
