Our client, a leading window furnishings business, is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Supply Chain, Sourcing & Product Costing Manager to lead their end-to-end procurement and supply chain function.

n

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a strategic thinker who can combine supplier management, sourcing, product costing, NPD and commercial optimisation to deliver measurable results.

n

The Opportunity

n

Reporting into senior leadership, you will play a key role in developing and executing supply chain strategy, strengthening supplier networks, optimising product costs and supporting new product development.

n

A key focus of the role will be delivering cost savings through strategic sourcing, product innovation, component optimisation and supplier development.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead purchasing and sourcing optimisation across the business
n
- Drive strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations
n
- Identify and deliver significant cost-saving opportunities
n
- Lead NPD programs, including product and component sourcing, COGS optimisation and supplier/product R&D;, qualification and validation
n
- Conduct annual and ad-hoc product cost and pricing reviews
n
- Manage and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), including new and enhanced BOMs
n
- Maintain fabric grouping and customer pricing structures
n
- Update and publish customer price lists
n
- Support inventory management and product sourcing when required
n
- Work closely with manufacturing to identify operational challenges and implement product and supplier improvements
n
- Manage the end-to-end introduction of new fabrics and products,



including customer swatching and system updates
n
- Resolve internal and external stakeholder issues effectively
n
- Lead and contribute to continuous improvement and other strategic projects
n

About You

n

You will be a commercially minded supply chain professional with a strong understanding of procurement, sourcing, product costing and manufacturing environments.

n

You'll ideally bring:

n

n
- 5+ years' experience in a similar supply chain, sourcing, procurement or product-focused leadership role
n
- Strong team management and leadership capability
n
- Proven experience in forward planning and stock management
n
- Solid analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
n
- A naturally inquisitive and improvement-focused mindset
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
n
- Strong problem-solving and resolution management capabilities
n
- Advanced computer skills, particularly Excel
n
- The ability to understand technical and mechanical concepts
n
- Demonstrated success delivering measurable improvements and cost savings
n
- Product and/or industry knowledge, ideally within manufacturing or window furnishings
n
- Experience with product costing, NPD and project management
n
- A qualification in Supply Chain Management, Product Costing, NPD, Project Management or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
n
