About the Role
n
We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our team on a six-month fixed-term contract, supporting our project at Monash in Melbourne.
n
This is a night shift position, commencing at 6:00 pm, and would suit an experienced HSE professional who is confident working in a busy construction environment and enjoys being hands-on with project teams and site personnel.
n
The role is expected to run through to Christmas, with the potential for the contract to continue depending on project requirements.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Provide practical HSE advice and support to project teams and site personnel
n
Conduct regular site inspections, audits and safety observations
n
Support risk assessments, SWMS and other HSE documentation
n
Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
n
Monitor compliance with Keller HSE requirements and relevant legislation
n
Engage with workers and subcontractors to promote secure work practices
n
Support toolbox talks, inductions and other safety initiatives
n
Identify hazards and work with the project team to implement effective controls
n
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across the project
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
Previous experience working as an HSE or Safety Advisor within the construction or infrastructure industry
n
Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and construction safety requirements
n
Experience working on construction or major infrastructure projects
n
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
The ability to work independently and confidently engage with site teams
n
Availability to work night shift, commencing at 6:00 pm
n
Ability to commence at short notice
n
Experience working on D-Wall, piling, ground engineering or similar construction projects will be highly regarded.
