About The Role

n

We are seeking a Senior Design Coordinator to manage the interface between construction and design teams on Design & Construct (D&C;) projects. Reporting to the Regional Design Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring designs are practical, aligned to project objectives, and deliverable on site. You will collaborate with construction teams, design consultants and clients to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

- Lead the interface between Construction Teams, Design Consultants and Clients
n
- Facilitate constructability reviews, design workshops and coordination meetings
n
- Review designs for compliance, optimisation and constructability
n
- Monitor design progress, milestones and deliverables
n
- Support project scoping, estimating, programming and risk management
n
- Track consultant performance, invoices and forecasting requirements
n




- Identify and manage design risks, opportunities and project growth
n
- Support preparation of consultancy agreements (TSA/CSA)
n
- Contribute to bid management and pre-contract activities
n
- Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
n

About You

n

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:

n

n
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical)
n
- Experience in construction project administration and cost control
n
- Strong understanding of design management within D&C; environments
n
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive outcomes
n
- Commercial awareness and risk management capability
n
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
n
- Experience using platforms such as Civillo, InEight, Aconex, Navisworks or Bluebeam will be highly regarded.
n
