Job title: Regional Sales Director Australia & New Zealand

MU is representing a market-leading organization and premium brand in the workplace interiors and ergonomic solutions sector in the search for a Regional Sales Director, Australia & New Zealand.
Our client is looking for a candidate who can combine hands-on leadership, team management, and cross-regional stakeholder influence to help scale an already successful business.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales growth objectives through the definition and implementation of the commercial growth strategy in collaboration with Senior Leadership.
- Recruit, lead and develop a team of results-driven sales people (over 10 ) to achieve assigned goals, conducting regular performance and skill evaluations of sales representatives.
- Coach and mentor team members through direct observation, meeting participation and tailored training initiatives.
- Develop a culture of transparency, teamwork, ownership, and open communication, enabling high levels of trust and performance across the sales organization.
- Develop and implement business plans and strategies that directly contribute to the achievement of sales growth and market expansion objectives in Australia and Recent Zealand.
- Engage with partners through regular review meetings to monitor progress and identify necessary changes or adjustments.
Manage and resolve any potential conflicts within the network.
- Ensure compliance with discounts and sales conditions as directed by leadership.
- Maintain accurate CRM records (ensuring team compliance) and deliver reports and forecasts
- Work strategically with other teams, such as , Global Accounts, Customer Services, Operations etc.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, etc.
- Organize and coordinate operations to ensure maximum productivity.
- Report regularly to senior management on performance results and strategic direction.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess 10+ years of successful commercial sales experience and/or product management experience including at least 5 years of senior Sales team leadership.
- Proven background in achieving challenging country sales targets.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Successful track record of planning and execution of corporate sales goals.
- Working knowledge of MS OFFICE and associated applications are required.
- Solid understanding of ergonomic principles, a plus.
- Knowledge and/or experience in office furniture or related industry, a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Skilful negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Highly motivated, with aggressive follow-up and closing skills.
- Experience of inventory forecasting and management
