An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified Gas Fitter to join our team in the Bunbury / Busselton area, covering an area from Harvey to Vasse. This role provides an excellent work-life balance and personal development opportunities.

Reporting to the Regional Supervisor, you will be working in our dedicated and passionate team. This varied role includes gas distribution fault-finding activities and maintenance works while providing a high level of customer service.

What You Will Do

n

n
- Faults and emergency response works relating to the gas distribution network.
n
- Undertake gas meter changes, leak surveillance/repair works, along with pipeline management.
n
- Collaborate with and oversee contractors associated with the expansion of the gas distribution network.
n
- Operate machinery, plant, equipment, and tools in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
n
- Carry out quality control and inspection activities relating to current construction.
n
- Liaise with customers and other stakeholders to ensure that any disruption to supply or any work impacting customers is fully communicated and, where possible, minimised.
n
- Participate in the 24/7 on-call faults roster.
n
- Undertake inspections of gas distribution assets, recording and reporting on performance, integrity, and any functionality issues in accordance with company procedures.

What You Will Bring

n

n
- Hold a G Class gas fitting licence.
n
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, our contractors, and the community.
n
- Certificate III in gas industry operations (desirable or training can be provided)
n
- Western Australia construction white card / blue card.
n
- Current C class driving licence (Medium Rigid (MR) licence desirable)
n
- Certificate in excavator operation (desirable)
n
- Basic worksite traffic management certificate (desirable)
n
