AusBiz Consulting is looking for exceptional ICT Business Analysts to join our team.

n

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

n

- Work closely with the business and non-technical users to identify business/operational pain points, elicit and analyse requirements, investigate and analyse business/operating procedures
n
- Formulate and document the business requirements based on the analysis of current business processes and procedures, document AS-IS and TO-Be Processes, and identify opportunities for automation.
n
- Liaise between the business and technology teams to facilitate business-IT alignment and aid in an evidence-based decision-making process
n
- Collaborate with the stakeholders (developer/ product manager/ etc.) to identify, evaluate and recommend software solutions
n
- Develop detailed functional requirement specifications document using epics and user stories
n
- Work together with the UI designers to create and review the UI designs in-line with the system specifications
n
- Communicate the software requirements to the development & QA team during requirement walkthroughs and planning sessions
n
- Create clear system specifications through the use of use case diagrams, data/process modelling, flowcharts, or other UMLs for the development of the system
n
- Document and Perform user acceptance testing to ensure the software developed is in line with the requirements, of acceptable quality and plan deployment cycles
n
- Analyse systems to facilitate third-party integrations
n
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies and suggest improvements in process or functional specifications of the system
n




- Work with a team in an Agile environment to implement best practices and timely deliverables to ensure the project is being delivered on time and within the specified budget
n
- Create and maintain the necessary training/onboarding documentation and conduct training sessions for new team members/customers
n

Requirements

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

n

Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT/IS

n

Experience:

n

n
- Minimum 2 years of full time experience working as a Business Analyst/ Product Analyst/ Product Manager or other similar roles
n

n

Skills:

n

n
- Experienced in writing detailed, clear and consistent functional requirement specifications using Epics and User stories
n
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize business requirements
n
- Experienced working with Power BI and Microsoft technologies
n
- Strong understanding of databases and ability to write SQL queries
n
- Knowledge of backend and frontend technologies
n
- Knowledge and understanding of responsive designs and systems
n
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture
n
- Experienced working in Agile–Scrum development methodology
n
- Hands-on experience using JIRA and Confluence
n
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and work in a dynamic team environment
n
- Strong communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)
n

$70,000 to $100,000 per year + Super
