Job Description

The Complex Claims Consultant role will sit within TAL's Cbus portfolio team, responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value, underwritten TPD claims. You will apply your solid technical expertise and knowledge of the Insurance Contracts Act to navigate complex arrangements and deliver quality outcomes for members.

In this role you will:

- Independently manage a portfolio (35-45) of complex, underwritten, and high-value TPD claims with accuracy, efficiency, resilience and empathy.

- Apply strong knowledge of the Insurance Contracts Act and navigate additional cover complexities.

- Collaborate with technical experts and business partners to support sound, high-quality decision-making.
n
- Contribute to embedding best practice and shaping the success of a newly established specialist team.
n
- Engage confidently with claimants, legal, trustees, and internal stakeholders, ensuring a professional and empatitive approach to complex cases.
