HC / MC Drivers | Sydney Metro

Ongoing Opportunities | Day Shifts | 10–12 Hour Days | Immediate Starts

We are currently seeking experienced HC and MC Drivers for ongoing palletised freight work across Sydney Metro, including Smithfield and Ingleburn.

n

The Role

n

n
- Drive HC/MC vehicles safely across Sydney Metro routes
n
- Deliver and collect palletised freight
n
- Complete daily pre-start checks and required paperwork
n
- Ensure accurate compliance with transport requirements
n
- Manage load restraint and fatigue requirements
n
- Follow Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations
n
- Carry out general freight duties as required
n
- Maintain a high standard of safety and professionalism
n

About You

n

To be successful, you will have:

n

n
- Current HC or MC licence
n
- Minimum 2 years' Australian heavy vehicle driving experience
n




- Confident reversing and trailer handling skills
n
- Experience with coupling and uncoupling trailers
n
- Experience operating tautliner/side curtain trailers
n
- Robust knowledge of load restraint and fatigue management
n
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
n
- Ability to work early starts, generally 5:00am–6:00am
n
- Ability to pass a medical, drug and alcohol screening and police check
n
- Current Driver History Report
n
- Fitness to Drive Certificate
n

Pay Rates

n

n
- HC Drivers – $43.78 per hour
n
- MC Drivers – $47.13 per hour
n
- 10–12 hour day shifts | Ongoing work | Immediate starts available
n
