Senior Account Executive, PR & Communications

Hyde & Seek is a senior-led earned-media agency working with ambitious businesses across technology, AI, healthcare, sustainability, finance and social impact.

We're growing and looking for a Senior Account Executive to work alongside our senior account leads across media relations, storytelling and client delivery.

n

This is a hands‐on role for someone who is already confident in PR execution and wants more exposure to strategy, senior clients and meaningful earned‐media work.

What you'll do

n

n
- Work alongside senior account leads across a portfolio of B2B and consumer-facing accounts
n
- Develop media angles and contribute to campaign planning
n
- Draft pitches, releases, commentary, briefing notes and thought leadership
n
- Build targeted media lists and maintain journalist relationships
n
- Pitch proactively across tier-one, business, trade, tech and consumer media
n
- Coordinate interviews and spokesperson preparation
n
- Track coverage, maintain client reporting and keep activity moving
n
- Monitor the news cycle and identify reactive opportunities
n
- Own smaller workstreams and grow into greater account responsibility over time
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Minimum 3 years of recent PR agency experience in Australia, including hands‐on media relations, journalist pitching and campaign execution
n
- Currently operating at Senior Account Executive level, or an experienced Account Executive demonstrably ready to step up
n
- Strong writing and media relations skills
n
- Good understanding of the Australian media landscape
n
- Comfortable juggling multiple accounts and deadlines
n
- Proactive, organised and self‐directed in a remote environment
n
- Curious, commercially aware and willing to challenge weak story ideas
n
- Strong attention to detail
n
- Interested in growing into an Account Manager role
n

Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 + super, depending on experience
