Senior Disability Support Worker / Team Leader – SIL Ballarat, VIC | Part Time | 6-Month Contract | Potential Extension

Nextt is looking for an experienced Senior Disability Support Worker / Team Leader to join our Ballarat team on a 6-month maternity leave contract, with the potential for the position to be extended.

n

Working within a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment, you'll play an key role in supporting participants to live fulfilling and independent lives, while also providing guidance and support to the wider team.

n

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on with participants but is also ready to take on additional responsibility and help others succeed.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred support across daily living, personal care and community participation
n
- Encourage and empower participants to work towards their individual goals
n




- Lead by example and provide guidance, mentoring and support to other team members
n
- Help ensure support plans, behaviour support strategies and allied health recommendations are followed
n
- Assist with team communication, handovers and day-to-day coordination
n
- Complete relevant documentation, reporting and administrative tasks
n
- Help foster a positive, respectful and supportive team environment
n

You'll ideally have:

n

n
- Previous experience in a senior Disability Support Worker, Team Leader or similar role
n
- Experience working within a SIL or complex support environment
n
- Strong communication and leadership skills
n
- A genuine commitment to person-centred support
n
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
- Victorian Working with Children Check (Employee)
n
- Driver's Licence & Comprehensive Car Insurance
n

What You'll Earn

SCHADS Award PPT B2.3 (before tax)

- Day Shift: $38.50 per hour
n
- Afternoon Shift: $43.31 per hour
n
- Active Night Shift: $44.28 per hour
n
- Saturday: $57.75 per hour
n
- Sunday: $77.00 per hour
n
- Public Holiday: $96.25 per hour
n
