Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Managerto join its growing Local Government team, supporting long term regional council partnerships within South Australia.

n

This is a hands on project delivery rolefor someone who enjoys managing multiple projects, leading teams and seeing things through from scoping to completion.

n

Working closely with the Sector Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of projects valued up to $5 million, while building strong relationships with the client and delivery teams.

What you'll do

n

n
- Manage multiple projects from scoping and procurement through to delivery, handover and close out
n
- Lead project teams, contractors and consultants
n
- Manage scope, program, budget, risk and quality
n
- Oversee procurement, contract administration, variations and change control
n
- Coordinate contractors and site activities
n
- Provide clear reporting to clients and senior stakeholders
n
- Support the Sector Manager with team leadership and day to day delivery
n

What we're looking for

n

You're a strong project manager first and foremost, with the confidence to take ownership and drive projects to completion.

n

You'll bring:

n

n




- 10+ years' experiencein project management and delivery
n
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently, ideally up to $5M in value
n
- Demonstrated experience leading project teams, contractors and consultants
n
- Strong procurement, contract administration and commercial skills
n
- Excellent project scheduling, risk and cost management capability
n
- A qualification in engineering, construction, project management or a related technical discipline, with engineering qualifications highly regarded
n
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- Local Government, utilities or infrastructure experience advantageous
n
- Asset management experience preferred but not essential
n
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel
n
- National Police Check and White Card
n
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
n
