The Queensland Club, one of Australia's leading private Members' clubs, renowned for its five-star hospitality, exceptional dining and personalised service is seeking a friendly, motivated and energetic Casual Receptionist/concierge to join our team and assist with reception and accommodation services.

About the role

n

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our reception operations and assisting with the requirements of our 14 accommodation rooms as needed. The position will commence as a casual role, with a view to transitioning to permanent part-time employment, providing the successful candidate with the opportunity for greater job security and ongoing hours.

Roster

n

The commencing roster will be:

n

Saturday: 7:00pm - Midnight

n

Sunday: Midnight - 7:00am

n

Sunday: 7:00pm - Midnight

n

Monday: Midnight - 7:00am

n

Additional hours: Rostered as required throughout the week

n

We are looking for someone who is professional, reliable and confident working independently in a busy reception environment.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

n

n
- Previous hotel or hospitality reception experience (highly regarded)
n
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency across Microsoft applications
n
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- A genuine commitment to exceptional customer service
n
- A professional and friendly telephone manner
n
- The ability to confidently manage a switchboard
n
- A positive, energetic and can-do attitude
n
- The flexibility to assist with housekeeping and complete cleaning duties when required
n
- The ability to work independently, particularly during overnight shifts
n
