Access Covers Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly capable Precast Production Supervisor to lead our precast concrete manufacturing operations at our Eagle Farm, Queensland facility.

This is a senior operational leadership position with responsibility for the safe, efficient and effective delivery of precast production across our growing Queensland operations.

You will take ownership of day-to-day production performance, workforce leadership, planning and scheduling, safety, quality, productivity and resource utilisation while working closely with Management, Engineering, HSEQ and other areas of the business.

About the Role

Reporting to Senior Management, the Precast Production Superintendent will provide leadership and operational direction across the Eagle Farm precast production department.

You will oversee daily production activities and ensure labour, materials, plant, equipment and resources are effectively coordinated to achieve production schedules safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

This is a hands‑on leadership position requiring a strong and visible presence on the production floor.

Your key areas of responsibility will include:

- Production planning and scheduling

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations:

Take ownership of the day‑to‑day performance of the precast production department.

Plan, coordinate and oversee daily and weekly production activities.

Ensure production schedules, priorities and delivery requirements are understood and achieved.

Coordinate labour, materials, plant, equipment and production resources.

Monitor production capacity and identify potential constraints before they impact delivery.

Monitor labour utilisation, productivity, workflow and production performance.

Identify bottlenecks, delays and operational issues and implement corrective actions.

Coordinate concrete pours, formwork, reinforcement,



finishing, stripping and associated precast activities.

Ensure manufacturing is completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and work instructions.

Ensure plant and equipment are appropriately maintained and available.

Provide Management with regular production updates and elevate operational risks.

Drive improvements in productivity, workflow and manufacturing efficiency.

Provide strong and visible leadership across the production department.

You will:

Promote and maintain a strong safety culture.

Ensure production activities comply with ACA WHS policies, procedures and Safe Work Procedures.

Intervene where unsafe practices or conditions are identified.

Ensure plant and equipment are operated by appropriately trained, competent and authorised employees.

Participate in workplace inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.

Ensure hazards, incidents, injuries and near misses are promptly reported and addressed.

Drive completion of corrective actions.

Maintain strong housekeeping and workplace organisation standards.

Ensure products meet approved drawings, specifications and quality requirements.

Identify and address non‑conforming products and workmanship.

Reduce avoidable defects, rework, waste and production losses.

Support ACA's ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.

You will also be responsible for helping ensure the operation performs commercially by:

Monitoring production against schedules, labour allocations and operational targets.

Understanding project labour allowances and allocated production hours.

Monitoring overtime and workforce requirements.

Identifying opportunities to improve productivity and reduce unnecessary costs.

Minimising material waste and rework.

Supporting workforce and capacity planning.





Identifying risks that may affect project cost, quality or delivery.

Implementing practical continuous improvement initiatives.

About You:

- Demonstrated experience as a Production Superintendent, Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Precast Supervisor or similar senior operational leader.
- Strong experience within precast concrete manufacturing or a closely related manufacturing or construction environment.
- Sound knowledge of concrete production, formwork and steel reinforcement.
- Proven experience leading and developing production teams.
- Robust production planning and scheduling capability.
- Experience managing labour, resources and competing production priorities.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, shop drawings and production documentation.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Commercial awareness of production costs, labour utilisation and productivity.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound computer literacy.

- Trade or technical qualification relevant to manufacturing, construction or precast concrete.
- Overhead Crane experience.
- First Aid Certificate.
