About The Role

n

Based at our Brisbane office, we are seeking a Drafter/Designer - Civil to join our growing and dynamic team. In this role, you will:

n

n
- Be responsible for undertaking civil detailed design and documentation in accordance with relevant design standards.
n
- Produce high-quality detailed designs and documentation in software such as 12D and AutoCAD that meet ADG standards.
n
- Ensure project success by monitoring scope, quality, costs, and schedules, leading to profitable project outcomes.
n
- Track project progress, including quality, costs, and schedules, to consistently meet or exceed client expectations.
n
- Foster collaboration between disciplines and project team members, both internal and external, to ensure consistent and coordinated design and documentation.
n
- Maintain an understanding of construction methodology to inform design.
n




- Assist in the development of fee proposals and tender submissions.
n

Qualifications And Skills

n

To be successful in your application, you should have:

n

n
- 4+ years of demonstrated experience in the design and documentation of earthworks, drainage, road works, and sewer/water using software like 12D, AutoCAD, PCDrain, and PCSewer.
n
- An Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent or currently enrolled to complete.
n
- The ability to use theoretical knowledge of design and principles to analyze and interpret information.
n
- Positive knowledge of drafting requirements for local authorities and government departments.
n
- Good knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and Codes.
n
- Experienced in the production of detailed engineering design and drawings commensurate with the level of duties.
n
- Experience in computer-aided design software including AutoCAD, 12D, and Civil 3D.
n
- Experience in preparing detailed engineering drawings and construction documentation commensurate with the level of duties.
n
- The ability to scope project work, set time allocations, and manage multiple projects concurrently.
n
