Workday Finance Application Support Specialist

Summary: Join a large enterprise organisation where you'll play a key role in supporting and enhancing Workday Finance applications. Working across application support, system enhancements, releases and continuous improvement, you'll help ensure business-critical Finance systems remain secure, reliable and high performing. The Role:

- Provide Level 2/3 support across Workday Finance applications, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Cash Management and Integrations.
n
- Manage incidents, system enhancements, configuration, releases and continuous improvement to ensure reliable business-critical applications.
n
- Collaborate with Finance, Technology and external vendors to troubleshoot issues and deliver technical solutions.
n
- Support Workday release cycles, testing and lifecycle management, including upgrades and system enhancements.
n
- Drive process improvements, automation and operational efficiencies across Finance applications.
n




- Maintain technical documentation while ensuring compliance with security, governance and audit requirements.

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Proven experience supporting Workday Finance Applications in a large enterprise environment.
n
- Hands-on experience across three or more Workday Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Cash Management, Projects, Inventory or Integrations.
n
- Solid knowledge of ITIL, including incident, problem and change management.
n
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
n
- Experience supporting SaaS applications, Workday releases, configuration and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
- Confident communicator, able to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders and vendors.
n
- Experience working in Agile environments (Jira/Confluence) and highly regulated organisations will be highly regarded.
n
- Relevant Workday certification and an IT qualification (or equivalent industry experience) are desirable.
