We have opportunities for career minded hospitality professionals to work as an Assistant Venue and Events Manager - Catering and Events for one of our Blanco Horner Adelaide CBD Based Venues.

Responsibilities

- Delivering various style of events including weddings, sit down lunch/dinners, cocktail events, and conferencing.
- Providing support to execute a high level of customer service.
- Providing guidance and direction to the Supervisors and Wait Staff to perform any duties on a given day.
- Monitor established service and operating procedures.
- Monitor staff to minimise wage, food,



beverage costs and general expenses
- Monitor training procedures relating to level of standard of service, dress codes and appearance.

Requirements

- Experience in front of house operations associated with event, conference, and banquet catering.
- Exceptional customer service across all channels – written, phone and face to face.
- Excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally.
- Sound administration understanding (use of booking systems, Microsoft programs, emails etc.)
- Excellent communication, time management and problem-solving abilities
- Immaculate presentation
- Be a skilled team-player, who adapts easily to a professional, structured and positive team environment.
- Pleasant and helpful in nature, with a solid customer service focus
