THE ROLE

n

Sal's Authentic New York Pizza York Street is looking for an experienced, hands-on Store Manager to run the day-to-day operations of our restaurant. You'll take full ownership of the store from the pizzas coming out of the oven to the numbers on the P&L; while leading a team that lives and breathes Sal's standards of quality and service.

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

n

n
- Manage the daily operations of the fast-food restaurant and ensure efficient front-of-house and back-of-house service
n
- Determine product mix, stock levels and customer service standards
n
- Manage food, beverage, packaging and ingredient inventory in accordance with established par levels
n
- Formulate and implement purchasing and pricing policies within franchise guidelines
n
- Place supplier orders and coordinate stock availability, delivery and quality
n
- Implement local marketing, promotions and sales initiatives to increase store revenue and repeat business
n
- Manage online ordering platforms and third-party delivery partners, including order flow, menu availability, pricing, promotions, customer issues and delivery performance
n
- Oversee in-store, takeaway, online and delivery orders to ensure accuracy, timely preparation and consistent service standards
n
- Monitor sales, operating costs, labour costs, wastage and store profitability
n
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and performance reports and monitor results against store KPIs
n
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, cash handling, financial transactions and POS activity
n
- Recruit, train, roster,



supervise and coach front-of-house and back-of-house employees
n
- Resolve customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally
n
- Ensure compliance with food safety, allergen management, workplace health and safety and company procedures
n
- Maintain the organisation's standards for food quality, presentation, portion control and customer service
n

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR :

n

n
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or a closely related qualification
n
- Minimum one year of relevant experience in a fast-food restaurant, quick-service restaurant, hospitality or retail management environment
n
- Demonstrated experience managing store operations, staff, stock, budgets and customer service
n
- Experience managing online orders and third-party delivery platforms
n
- Strong understanding of food safety, workplace health and safety and operational compliance
n
- Experience with staff recruitment, training, rostering and performance supervision
n
- Ability to manage store KPIs, labour costs, inventory, purchasing and financial records
n
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
n
- Ability to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
n
- Previous pizza restaurant, franchise or quick-service restaurant experience will be highly regarded
n
