About The Role
n
Join our team within as an Electrical Fitter in our Laverton North Service Centre.
n
n
- Repair and maintain LV & HV electrical rotating machinery.
n
- Assemble and disassemble electrical rotating equipment.
n
- Conduct static and dynamic tests on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
n
- Rewind electric motors and generators.
n
- Perform balancing on motors to keep things running smoothly.
n
- Keep the goods flowing with timely ordering when required.
n
- Take direction from your Supervisor to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
n
- When required, attend onsite to conduct effective repairs of electrical rotating equipment.
n
n
To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need
n
n
- CERT III in Electrotechnology or above / equivalent.
n
- Experience in repairing and rewinding DC motors, medium to High Voltage electrical motors, and generators.
n
- Excellent time management skills to keep things on track.
n
- Strong teamwork skills.
n
- Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
n
