Forklift / Pick Packer - Timber Yard

Foundation Labour Hire is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift / Pick Packer to join a busy timber yard in Caboolture.

n

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, knows their way around a warehouse or yard, and takes pride in getting orders picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.

n

Working within a busy timber yard, you will be responsible for a combination of forklift operation, picking, packing, loading and general yard duties.

n

You will be required to safely move timber and building products around the yard while ensuring customer orders are accurately prepared for dispatch.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
n
- Pick and pack timber and building products
n
- Load and unload trucks
n
- Prepare customer orders for dispatch
n
- Move and stack timber products throughout the yard
n
- Check quantities and product specifications against orders
n
- Assist with general yard and warehouse duties
n




- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
n
- Follow all WHS procedures and site requirements
n
- Work efficiently to meet daily dispatch and production targets
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Current LF Forklift Licence
n
- Previous forklift experience
n
- Warehouse, timber yard, building supplies or logistics experience
n
- Good attention to detail
n
- Ability to safely handle heavy and awkward materials
n
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Good communication skills
n
- Commitment to workplace safety
n

n

Timber, building supplies or hardware experience will be highly regarded.

n
