Salary/Level: Level 6, $124,673 - $137,399 pa, PSCSAA 2024

About The Role

The Senior Business Analyst provides business analysis services and deliverables to support the digital transformation and continuous improvement of business processes within the Department of Housing and Works (DHW). The role develops and maintains relationships with business stakeholders, provides high level advice in managing requirements and delivering business cases, requiring the application of relevant frameworks, methodologies and standards to document business processes and functions, and assessing the impact of organisational and systems changes

About You

You are an experienced Business Analyst with strong communication skills and the ability to elicit, analyse, define and document requirements, solution options, and business cases. You can select and tailor the approach and relevant deliverables to enable informed decision making and persuasively lead customer engagement.

The position operates in Personal Leadership context. This means that you are required to demonstrate personal accountability for delivering excellence and support your team and agency in delivering strategic goals. You will be expected to build and nurture relationships and be willing to seek feedback and learn.

Currently there is one (1) permanent full-time position available for filling. Whilst this selection process will initially be used to appoint to this advertised vacancy, it may also be used to appoint to similar positions that may arise in the Agency within the next eighteen (18) months on a full-time, part-time, permanent or fixed-term basis with the possibility of further extension(s) and/or permanency.
