Jigsaw OOSH is seeking casual educators for our service located at Strathfield South Public School.

You will be workingalongside a teamofprofessionalswhopride themselves on providing high quality child care services with interest based programs for the community.

You Must Have:
n
n
- Working with Children Check Clearance Number (WWCC)
n
- Certificate III or higher (preferred but not essential)
n
- Current First Aid certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis, Child Protection certificate's or willingness toobtain.
n
- Effective communication skills and skilled manner.
n
- Ability to develop respectful relationships with children and manage groups of children.
n
- Interests and skills in craft, sports, group games, cooking or other activities enjoyed by children.
n
- Be a prompt and reliable team player.
n
n
Responsibilities/Duties:
n
n
- Ensuring a high quality standard of care is provided and that a happy, safe and professional environment is maintained.
n
- Administrative duties in accordance with regulations and Framework
n
- Contribute to thecompletion and implementationof the QIP
n
- Undertake duties as determined by the nominated supervisor
n
- Comply with all service policy and procedures
n
- Programming –Based on My time our place
n
- Actively engaging with children during the implementation of the program
n
- Communicate with Children, staff and parents
n
- Ability to work well within a team
n
- Work alongside the Nominated supervisor
n
- Supervise, care for and actively interact with children from K- 6 in a range of activities. Setting up and packing away activities, cleaning duties.
n
- Become aware of all centre policy and procedures and follow through with them.
n
- Writing up children observations with reference to the outcomes for 'My Time Our Place' School Age Framework. (on site training provided)
n
n
Availability to work:
n
During school term time: morning shift 7:00-9:00am and afternoon shifts range from 3:00-6:30pm, with shifts being a minimum of 2 hours Mon to Fri.
