Maintenance Plumber – Static Healthcare Site

Location: Macquarie Park, Sydney, NSW
n Salary: $110,000 + Super

About the Role

n

An excellent opportunity is available for a qualified Maintenance Plumber to join an established facilities and maintenance team based at a large healthcare facility in Macquarie Park.

n

This is a permanent static-site position, giving you the stability of working from the same location each day rather than travelling between multiple customer sites across Sydney.

n

You'll be responsible for planned and reactive plumbing maintenance, fault finding and repairs across a busy operational healthcare environment where reliability, safety and quality of workmanship are essential.

n

You'll work alongside an established team of trades and facilities professionals responsible for keeping the facility operating safely and efficiently.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Carry out planned preventative plumbing maintenance
n
- Attend reactive maintenance calls and urgent plumbing issues
n
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs
n
- Maintain hot and cold water systems
n
- Maintain drainage and sanitary systems
n
- Complete minor plumbing works and component replacements
n
- Respond to maintenance requests throughout the facility
n
- Carry out inspections and identify potential maintenance issues
n




- Ensure all work meets relevant safety and compliance requirements
n
- Complete maintenance reports and documentation
n
- Liaise with other trades and the wider facilities team
n
- Work professionally within a live healthcare workplace
n

About You

n

n
- Qualified Plumber with relevant NSW licence
n
- Previous commercial maintenance experience
n
- Strong plumbing fault-finding and maintenance skills
n
- Experience with planned and reactive maintenance
n
- Comfortable working within a busy operational environment
n
- Able to work independently and manage daily priorities
n
- Good communication and customer service skills
n
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
n
- Experience within hospitals, healthcare, critical environments or large commercial facilities highly regarded
n

Previous healthcare experience is advantageous but not essential for someone with a strong commercial maintenance background.
