The Opportunity

Lead the future of information management and drive organisational excellence.

The City is seeking an innovative and strategic Coordinator Information Management to lead the transition to a modern, enterprise wide information management setting. In this key leadership role, you will develop and implement information management strategies, governance frameworks and best practices that ensure information is secure, accessible, trusted and effectively managed throughout its lifecycle.

Leading a dedicated Information Management team, you will promote a high performing and customer focused culture while driving information governance, digital transformation and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Alliance Manager Enterprise Information, your key responsibilities would primarily be to:

- Lead and inspire a high performing Information Management team, promoting a customer focused culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Drive the City's information management strategy, developing innovative frameworks, policies and initiatives that strengthen governance, compliance and information accessibility.
- Provide expert leadership and advice on information management, recordkeeping and information governance, ensuring compliance with legislative and organisational requirements.
- Champion digital transformation and service improvement,



enhancing information systems, processes and practices to improve efficiency, user experience and organisational capability.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

- Proven leadership experience delivering contemporary information management services within a medium to large organisation, with the ability to lead teams and achieve strategic and operational outcomes.
- Strong expertise in information management and governance, including recordkeeping, legislative compliance, policy development and the implementation of best-practice frameworks and standards.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify improvement opportunities, manage risks and deliver practical solutions that support business objectives.
- Strong customer focus and technical capability, with experience delivering innovative information management solutions that improve accessibility, streamline processes and meet evolving business needs.
