Working alongside the Operations Manager, the Services Manager will play a key leadership role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the organisation. The successful candidate will oversee key components of our disability support teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery, staff performance, participant outcomes, and compliance with NDIS standards and organisational requirements.You will be working part of our friendly leadership team focused on creating a excellent working envrioment for our participants and team members.
Key responsibilities
Support the Operations Manager and Director in overseeing daily operational activities
Lead, support, and mentor Team Leaders and Disability Support Teams
Ensure services are delivered in line with participant goals and person-centred practices
Monitor operational performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Oversee and review NDIS documentation, including shift notes, support plans, risk assessments, incident reports, service agreements, behaviour support plans, and participant records
Ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant, and audit-ready
Working alongside the quality support team on internal reviews
Support recruitment, onboarding, staff development, rostering, and performance management processes
Assist with incident management, investigations, complaints, and corrective actions
Build positive relationships with participants, families, guardians, and external stakeholders
Work with our engagement teams on holding and participating in a range of fun and quality improving events across our local area (extra points if you like gaming,
fishing or coming up with community value events!)
About you
Demonstrated leadership experience within the disability, community services, or healthcare sector
Experience overseeing Team Leads and Support Teams
Solid knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards, NDIS Quality Indicators, and compliance requirements
Proven experience managing and reviewing NDIS documentation, including shift notes, participant records, support plans, risk assessments, incident reports, and service agreements
Experience conducting audits and maintaining compliance standards
Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and organisational skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision‑making abilities
High attention to detail and commitment to quality service delivery
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with staff, participants, families, and stakeholders
(Preferred not required) Qualification in Community Services, Disability, Human Services, Business Management, or a related field
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current National Police Check
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience using client management systems
