Job Description

This is a permanent part‐time, 30 hours per week position where you will be responsible for leading a passionate and dedicated team of staff to deliver HammondCare's model of care with it's Social Club service in Casino.

Hammond Care's Social Clubs provide a social environment where older people can take a break from their home environment, connect with their community and spend a day socialising while being supported by our talented team.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Aid in recruiting and leading staff, managing budgets, ensuring quality and overseeing all aspects of care provision at the Social Club
n
- Provide strong and effective leadership, direction and oversight of operation of the Social Club
n
- Operate social club inline with CHSP Operational Manual
n
- Operate club inline with Aged Care Act and Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
n
- Achieve targeted outputs for social club
n
- Provide staff and volunteers with support and advice on daily operational care issues
n

What do you need to apply?

n

n
- Certificate IV in Aged Care or other relevant qualification.
n
- Experience in Community Aged Care management
n
- Experience running a CHSP Social Club
n
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative and problem solve with limited supervision.
n
- Strong organisational abilities, including effective time management and ability to prioritise in a busy work environment
n
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial performance
n
- Strong conflict resolution skills
n




- Experience managing a team of skilled professionals
n
- A current driver's licence and safe driving record
n
- Willingness to travel between HammondCare's sites and services
n
- Strong administrative and computer skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Empathy and patience
n
