We are currently seeking an experienced BMS Engineer to join a growing and well-established building automation company servicing projects across Sydney Metro.

The successful candidate can be Sydney or Newcastle based, with all project work located across the Sydney Metro area.

n

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong BMS professional looking to join a growing business, work on varied projects and take on a key role across BMS design, programming, integration and commissioning.

About the Role As a BMS Engineer, you will be responsible for the delivery of building management and automation projects across commercial, industrial and building services environments.
n Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Designing, programming and configuring BMS and building automation systems
n
- Working with Tridium Niagara / Niagara 4
n
- Integrating BMS systems with HVAC and mechanical equipment
n
- Working with BACnet, Modbus and other communications protocols
n
- Developing BMS graphics, alarms, trends and control strategies
n
- Testing, fault finding and commissioning BMS systems
n
- Working with HVAC controls including AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, chillers, pumps and associated equipment
n
- Conducting site inspections and assisting with project planning
n
- Liaising with clients, contractors, technicians and project teams
n




- Preparing technical documentation and project handover information
n
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting when required
n

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Relevant Engineering qualification
n
- Previous experience working as a BMS / Controls Engineer
n
- Hands-on Niagara / Niagara 4 experience – essential
n
- Strong understanding of BMS and building automation systems
n
- Experience with HVAC controls and mechanical services
n
- Experience with BMS commissioning and integration
n
- Understanding of BACnet and/or Modbus
n
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
n
- Ability to read and understand electrical and control schematics
n
- Solid communication and client-facing skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team
n
