About the Role

As Duty Manager at the Belair Hotel, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring exceptional service, strong team performance, and seamless venue operations across all departments.

Reporting directly to the Venue Manager, you'll lead by example on shift, support and develop your team, and ensure compliance, presentation, and service standards are consistently met.

This is a full-time position working across a rotating 7-day roster, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Overseeing daily venue operations across bar, restaurant, gaming and floor areas
- Leading, coaching and supporting team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Managing customer feedback and resolving issues professionally and efficiently
- Ensuring gaming operations and Responsible Person duties are conducted in accordance with compliance requirements
- Completing accurate daily reports, cash reconciliations and shift handovers
- Maintaining high standards of venue presentation, cleanliness and safety
- Monitoring service standards and driving a positive team culture
- Supporting ongoing staff training and development initiatives

About You

You're a hospitality professional who enjoys being part of a busy venue, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service,



and can confidently lead a team through high-volume service periods.

What We’re Looking For:

- Previous experience in a Duty Manager, Supervisor or similar leadership role within a hotel, pub or hospitality venue
- Strong customer service and communication skills with a positive, approachable attitude
- Proven ability to lead teams and make confident decisions under pressure
- Experience working across food, beverage and gaming operations
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- RSA and RP Badge essential
- Gaming Manager's badge preferred; RSG and H&L; experience highly regarded
- Availability to work a flexible 7-day roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays
- A genuine desire to learn, develop and build a long-term hospitality career
