Prosperosa is a mental health-focused NDIS provider supporting participants across community access, in-home supports and Supported Independent Living (SIL) environments.

We work primarily alongside participants living with psychosocial disabilities, mental health conditions and complex support needs. Our approach is recovery-oriented, trauma-informed and person-centred, with a strong focus on dignity, independence, emotional safety and meaningful community participation.

About the Role

n

We are seeking compassionate, proactive and emotionally mature Mental Health Support Workers to join our growing team.

n

This is a hands-on role supporting participants across community-based supports, individual supports and some SIL environments. Supports may include:

n

n
- community access and social participation
n
- transport and appointments
n
- emotional support and recovery-oriented engagement
n
- daily living assistance and routine support
n
- household tasks completed alongside participants
n
- documenting progress notes and incidents
n

n

This role is not suited to workers seeking passive support shifts. Staff are expected to actively engage with participants,



contribute to support routines and provide meaningful person-centred support.

What We're Looking For

Successful applicants will:

- have experience in mental health, disability or community services
n
- remain calm and professional under pressure
n
- maintain solid professional boundaries
n
- have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- be reliable, proactive and team-oriented
n
- be comfortable supporting participants with psychosocial disability and behavioural complexity
n
- work confidently both independently and within a team
n

Desirable

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Mental Health or Community Services
n
- Mental Health First Aid
n
- Trauma-informed practice knowledgeExperience in psychosocial disability supportsMedication competency training
