Our client is a well-established architectural practice based in Macquarie Park, with a team of approximately 25 professionals and a portfolio of over 600 completed projects across Australia.

In addition to architectural services, the business operates a dedicated project management division, providing client-side project management and construction support for high-end residential developments. Their projects include luxury custom homes, duplexes, townhouses and architecturally designed residential developments across Sydney.

Due to continued project growth, they are looking for a Project Manager to join their project management team. This opportunity is particularly suited to someone with an architectural background who is looking to transition from a design-focused role into project management and project delivery.
n
Working alongside an experienced Project Manager, you will gain exposure to the construction and delivery side of high-end residential projects, using your architectural knowledge while developing broader skills in client-side project management, contract administration and construction coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
- Assist with management and coordination of high-end residential projects during construction phase
n
- Act as a key coordination point between clients, builders, architects and consultants
n
- Attend client meetings, site meetings and project coordination meetings
n
- Review construction drawings and assist with resolving design and construction-related queries
n
- Coordinate RFIs and design-related queries between builders and consultants
n
- Assist with variations, progress claims and Extension of Time (EOT) assessments
n
- Support builder tender processes and contractor coordination
n
- Monitor project progress, programme milestones and key deliverables
n
- Maintain project records, meeting minutes and construction documentation
n
n
Skills & Requirements:
n
n
- 2+ years Australian architectural experience, ideally within residential projects
n
- Qualification in Architecture, Architectural Design or a related discipline
n
- Good understanding of residential construction drawings, and project delivery processes
n
- Exposure to residential projects from design/documentation through to construction is highly regarded
n
- Site coordination, consultant coordination or construction-phase experience will be advantageous
n
- Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
n
- Confident communicating with clients, builders, architects and consultants
n
- A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in developing a career in Project Management
n
- Work on architecturally designed luxury residential projects across Sydney
n
- Gain exposure to projects from construction through to completion
n
- Learn directly from an experienced Client-side Project Manager
n
